Our History
Keystone Kares was created by the inspiration of Ann Minahan. She recognized the ever increasing need of an employee assistance program within our resort employees. Her efforts led to the Crisis Fund becoming reality in October of 2006.
Keystone Kares has a Board of seven Directors. The board members live in Summit County, Colorado and work at Keystone or have worked at Keystone Ski Resort at one time. The Board meets once a month and when an employee is in need of assistance.
In 2007, Keystone Kares hosted their First Annual Comedy Night raising over $5000. Ever since, this successful event has led to helping numerous employees in need.
In 2009, the Keystone Kares Board decided to shorten our name into an acronym. K.A.R.E.S. is Keystone Area Resort EmployeeS.
K.A.R.E.S. Board of Directors
Keystone Kares has seven members on the board. Each member is currently or has worked at Keystone Ski Resort. As of elections in September 2010 the Board Members are:
